Bennachie. A mountain with a rounded peak, slightly snow covered. In the mid distance are two houses, fields and trees.

Bennachie, the most conspicuous mountain in central Aberdeenshire. 

It has over the centuries become a focus for many legends and tales. Many interpretations of its name exist, among them; Mountain of Sight, Mountain of the Pap, Mountain of the Mist, Mountain of Ce, Mountain of God.
