Narrow necked squat lekythos in black-figure glazed red clay, decorated with diagonal lines across body, brown band with white spots round top of body - 'net lekythos'
Red-figured vase (lekythos), squat, shows seated woman with dish in right hand. AV Group- Campanian. Thomson's MS Catalogue: 'Vase with narrow mouth - figure of female sitting - (Sorrento).'
Small statue of Aesculapius. The head is classical, the body probably 19th century AD. Head given to Fordyce by Lord Bute (see Knight c.1840, MS M111 for two references to 'the head of Esculapius').
