Puirman. An iron stand almost a metre tall with a tripod base and a circular rack on top. Hanging from the rack is a crusie lamp, composed of two leaf shaped dishes fastened one above the other. Clipped above the rack is a candle made of a strip of fir wood.
Puirman, free-standing with a tripod base, and a circular top on which to stand the crusie or lamp. There is also a clip to hold a fir candle, a type of wooden taper. The puirman and crusie come from Aberdeenshire.
