Description
Loose ring-headed pin, pin shape: flat (end). Two pins found together, close to or within the hut circles on Culblean Hill in united parishes of GlenMuick, Tullich & Glengairn. Fanning (1983) states that such pins are 'shroud fasteners'. Also that comparatively few are known from mainland Scotland and the majority have come from Norse contexts.
