Jack reel or wool winder, in wood. Inscription (maker's name?) on top, carved into the wood. Slip catalogue and accessions book gives number (525+1) and donor (Margaret A Morris), plus following information: 1 Carder H:450mm B:350mm. But this part of the description does not match the object.
