Kris with straight, double-edged damascened blade in steel. Carved wooden handle in form of female figure with flowing robes. Carved wooden scabbard with head decorated with birds, flowers etc. in black, red, gold and blue.

Kris with ornate damascened wavy blade bearing figure of rampant lion. Carved wooden handle and scabbard. Thomson's Catalogue, p96: 'Madurese kris. Mr Arthur Fraser.' Arthur Fraser was Thomson's brother-in-law, a 'merchant in Java'.
