Axe head. A rough stone oblong axe head, with the inscription 39 HILL OF NOTH RHYNIE painted on.
Polished stone axe head, type: splayed & narrow butt.

Axel loops. Two heavily rusted, cracked fragments of iron with a flat curved shape.
Eight fragments of corroded iron, some of which form a ring when put together, and corroded iron rivets.

Badge. A small silver disc with a coat of arms with three towers on it and a leopard on either side. The motto BON ACCORD is on a banner at the top.
Circular silver badge, decoration: Aberdeen Coat of Arms.

Badge. A square plate of metal, about half a foot wide, with the words BAD CHARACTER OLD MILL in cracked black lettering. The reverse says DESERTER. There are two rings at the top through which runs a chain.
Shape: square. With brass chain, inscribed on one side with 'Bad Character Old Mill' and on other side 'Deserter Old Mill'. Was used in the old Workhouse of Old Mill, Aberdeen as punishment.

Bank note. A tattered paper bank note for one pound with creases and tears from being folded many times.
One pound note, framed and glazed. Aberdeen, Montrose, Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow Exchange & Deposit Banks one pound note No13959 Maberly and Co Aberdeen. Maberly & Co, a linen manufacturing firm whose bank failed in 1832.
