Carding combs. Two large rectangular wooden combs with handles. A large number of small iron pins, bent slightly in the middle, project from the bodies of the combs.
A pair of carding combs, with backs in wood and teeth in iron wire, fixed in leather.
Gartane leem. An open wooden box about the size of a shoebox, with a panel with a row of alternating long vertical gaps and holes projecting upwards from inside. On one end of the box is a crank which turns a bobbin wound with thread.

Sweir kitty. A wooden apparatus about a foot wide consisting of turned wooden rods. The base has two rods in a T shape, from the opposite ends of which project two more rods perpendicularly. Between these rods is a metal rod on to which is threaded two wooden spindles.
Yarn winder, or swier-kitty, with frame in wood and spindles in iron. Type: double-reeled. Shape: turned. Decoration: concentric bands (incised).

Powder horn. Made of a flattened horn, cream coloured grading into dark brown at the top. Decorated with incised knotwork circles and bands, two unicorns and three horse heads beneath the letters M, A, F, a pentagram in a circle, a thistle and a crude profile of a man wearing a hat.

Quaich. A small wooden bowl about the size of an egg cup, carved from a single piece of wood with a blocky handle on each side and a circular base with a scalloped edge which is carved with an interlace pattern on the underside.

Ladle. A small dark wooden ladle, carved from a single piece of wood, with a hook at the end of the handle.

Coggie. A tub shaped wooden bowl made of interlocking staves of alternating dark and light wood bound with canes. The handle is formed from a longer stave and has the upper half of a heart shape carved at the top.

Bicker tarty. A tub shaped bowl made of staves of dark wood bound with two iron bands. Rounded blocks project from two of the staves opposite each other making the handles.
Brose bowl or 'bicker tartie' bowl, bucket-shaped, made from 14 wooden staves (2 of the staves form lugs or handles), flat base, and bound with two iron bands.
