Bowl or 'coggie' made of 20 wooden staves (dark and light wood, alternately), with a flat base and a single handle, made from one longer stave. Bound with 9 encircling cane or withies bands. Shape: miniature copy of a milk cog. Probably used as a porringer, for oatmeal brose.
