Cups. Two simple cups made of horn, with silver rims inscribed MITCHELLS HOSPITAL OLD ABERDEEN 1801 No1 and No2.

Spirit measures. Three cups of different sizes, shaped like cones with the tops cut off, in a shiny slightly iridescent metal. The largest cup is inscribed 3 DRAMS, the other 1 1/2 DRAMS and the smallest has no inscription.
Measure for measuring spirits, cone-like, in silver plate.
Brooch. A flat tarnished silver ring almost four inches wide with the word LONACH and a thistle incised on the front. On the back is a pin and the inscription Stewart Forbes 1853.

Buttons. 11 small, stud shaped silver buttons with roses engraved on them.
Eleven silver buttons (5 large and 6 small), with looped backs and with the Jacobite rose engraved on the front. There were originally 15 buttons in gift, but 4 were returned to Mr Mearns at his request to add to the Highland Dress of a nephew.
