Urn. Large earthenware urn, about half a metre tall. The base is much smaller than the opening, giving it a rough conical shape. The body flares out and contracts again near the rim. The inner rim is decorated with punched dots, the outer rim and upper body is decorated with a sculpted wavy pattern with rows of incised diagonal lines in alternate directions.
Cinerary urn, found in parish of Skene, containing calcined bone and pieces of charcoal. Urn is decorated at neck with a wavy line and hatched pattern.
Pot sherds. Four pieces of the rim of a large earthenware pot glued together. There are two small holes a few centimetres below the rim.
Rim shape: rounded & everted. Four sherds joined together (in 1984), has two holes for suspension, part of a cooking pot?
Chain. A silver chain about 11 centimetres long with ring shaped links each about three centimetres wide. The chain alternates between single and double links.
Part of a metal chain, circular links, double linked alternating with single links. Is of a type usually referred to as 'Pictish'. Was found at a depth of 18' on the North promontory of Nigg Bay, Nigg, Kincardineshire, April 1796.
Torc. A bracelet sized open ring formed from a twisted ribbon of gold creating a tight spiral shape. The ends are hooked together.

Torc. Fragments of a gold torc, an open ring formed from a twisted ribbon of gold creating a tight spiral. There is a hook at the end of one fragment.

Pin heads. Six ball shaped black objects, smooth and glossy with some cracks, and holes on the bottoms, which are slightly flattened. They are about the size of a large marble.

Crusie mould. A large round lump of stone with a deep leaf shaped depression in it, and the date 1745 carved into it.
Water rounded boulder, carved to make a crusie mould, type: long-nosed crusie. The date 1745 is carved on either side of the mould.

Axe head and chisel mould. A block of sandstone with axe head and bar shaped depressions on the sides.
Flat axe mould. Shape: tabular with 9 matrices (using all faces of the stone). Found while ploughing on the South face of Foudland Hill, Insch.
Perforated Stone
Stone from above cist with central countersunk perforation, not symmetrical, possible groove (ring-mark?) around part of circumference of hole on one side. Was found at the Upper Mains of Catterline, Kinneff, Kincardine.
