One of a collection (44) of terra cotta casts. Originals were also in terra cotta, Reid 1912: 'found in tombs in Tanagra, Boeotia, placed around bodies or packing in large earthenware jars. The subjects range from gods and incidents of daily life to caricatoures and children's toys. Generally, however, they represent female figures.'
