Tinder pistol. A small pistol like device with a wooden handle. A brass, steel and flint mechanism is on the end, operated by a trigger, and there is also a candle holder on the side.
Flint-lock tinder pistol, in brass, combined with a brass rectangular container for tinder and a small cup for holding a candle. Lock is in steel. Used in making fire.
