Ox shoes. Two flat oblong pieces of iron with wings at the front to fit an ox hoof. One shoe has a hoof placed inside it.
Two ox shoes, with a broad wing or flange over each side of the toe and an additional flange at the heel.
Paddle. The end of a wooden paddle, covered in numerous small cracks.

Padlock. A large square padlock, almost a foot wide, with a large key with a circular handle which has a decorative quatrefoil cut out of it. The lock is on a plate with large diamond shaped rivets to affix it to a wall.
With key. Hinged cover to protect key hole broken. Museum's 'Slip Catalogue' and collector's hand-written catalogue (Thomson 1862) state 'Gillespie the Murderer the last confined by it'.
Painting. Landscape painting of a large, church like building with towers, spires, long wings and a chapel. Above the main tower is a crown like structure. The building is behind a wall over which are the tops of trees. Groups of people populate the area in front of the wall, many wearing red gowns. The painting is in an ornate gilded frame.

Painting. Oil painting of a large, tall building with a round tower being demolished. The roof has been removed, there are piles of rubble and labourers are handling pieces of stone. The painting is in a gilded frame.
