Axe head from a woodman's axe, no haft.

1/2 portrait, wearing high collar and cravat, dark wide-lapelled coat, balding. Background plain. There are 2 portraits of Simpson by James Giles in the collection (see ABDUA 30147).

Communion token, oval in shape. Inscription and 'burning bush' on one side, robed figure against a saltire on the other. Same as ABDUA 25334.

Pair of ear-rings, made from gold beads and human hair. Hook decorated with a leaf-like design in gold.

Sporran with eight yellow woollen tassels. Reid (1912): 'Worn by Jacobite at battle of Culloden, 1746.'

Made from two horn tips bound together with brass. Lid decoration: concentric circles. The base mount has what appears to be a T and another letter, possibly a D, engraved on it.
