Whats your most distinctive feature? Try drawing yourself in a way that exaggerates it. Does it still look like you?
Put a piece of paper on a wall and stand sideways in front of it with a bright light. Get someone else to draw your silhouette. What does it look like? Can you imagine people making judgements about you based on it?
Try drawing a famous persons face. Is there something memorable or distinctive about their face? Do they look more recognisable if you exaggerate their features?
Try drawing yourself as an animal. Do you feel like a certain animal represents you in some way? Why? Is it desirable to be considered similar to some animals but not others?
Try drawing a picture of your face which shows your personality. Do your features reflect who you are? Or do you need to use a certain expression or accessories to show your personality?
Try drawing a beautiful face. Whats beautiful to you? Is there any reason some features are attractive and others arent? Do people in your culture value some features more than others?
Try drawing an apotropaic face to frighten evil creatures away. What kinds of features are scary and intimidating? Why? What do these faces have in common with real creatures or people?
