Relief carving showing the royal family of the 18th Dynasty pharaoh Akhenaten. Akhenaten, a brother of Tutankhamun established his court at Amarna and replaced the traditional religion with a belief in a single god in the form of Aten, represented on this carving as the disc of the sun. These beliefs did not survive but had an impact on Christianity centuries later. This may be a 19th century fake, made because of the Christian interest in Amarna.
