Description

Large silver cup given by Alexander Littlejohn to be used as a trophy or 'challenge vase' for an annual shinty competition among Scottish universities, and known as the 'Littlejohn of Invercharron Challenge Vase'. The cup is a copy, in silver, of the marble Warwick vase which was found in Italy in 1770 and is now on display in the Burrell Collection, Glasgow.
