Full portrait of George Keith, IX Earl Marischal, armoured, with grey periwig, black knee boots and spurs. Left hand is on sword hilt, while right hand is holding Marischal baton. Keith has cloth at waist. Plumed helmet on left of ground above the EM coat of arms. Landscape background with drapery parting, left revealing tents, cannon entering Right Tree, with behind 4 soldiers at rest and Fort on hilltop to rear, (correctly 9th Earl Marischal - last Earl Marischal to be Chancellot of Marischal College), Attributed to F Trevisani.
