Title
Walking stick. A wooden stick almost a metre long with four segments. It has silver caps at both ends, the top one is bulbous. There is a small hole with silver mounts around it going through the stick near the top.

Description
Cane walking stick with silver top. The top is inscribed to 'Geo. Turreff' and stamped with maker's initials (William Jamieson - died 1841). Museum's 'Slip Catalogue': 'George Turreff was appointed by the Aberdeen Town Council Dean of Guild's officer, 9th October 1793, and Collector of seat rents in town's Churches, Aberdeen, 12th October, 1796'.
