Knife, spatulate, found by Captain Bartlett of Peary's expedition in 1906 on site of English camp, North Grant Land. Belonged to crew of 'Discovery' during Arctic expedition 1875. Two paper labels - one on knife blade, one on knife handle. Label on handle: 'found by Captain Bartlett 1906 English camp 1875 N Grant Land 82deg 30 N picked up 1906 near (?) lake Victoria last 'Discovery' camp.' Inscription: Label on blade: Belonged to crew of 'Discovery' on Arctic expedition 1875 and left by them at N end of Grant Land, where it was found by Captain Bartlett of Peary's expedition 1906 and given by Captain Bartlett to Mg
