Description

Nine globular pin-heads, in shale. One with part of an iron pin. One of the pin-heads appears to be a nut or gall. Six pin-heads are on display (December 2001). Found when trenching land on Hill of Crichie, Aberdeenshire (February 1856) along with three complete and one incomplete pin-heads, and bronze Don terret and ferrule for spear, all of which are preserved in British Museum.
