Description

Pipe made in meerschaum in the shape of a hand holding an egg. The white egg forms the bowl of the pipe and the arm and wrist (honey-coloured meerschaum), the stem is made of amber. The handwritten label reads ' Presented by Queen Victoria to her Commisioner Dr. Profeit at Balmoral'.
