    <dcterms:description><![CDATA[VASE VI Obv. A youth and a female in biga; female holds up a circular object like modern quoit. Youth wears a curious red dress over black garment; the upper hangs down in an end like the paw of lion&#039;s skin; it encircles his body, but does not go over the shoulder. Youth in front of the horses. Rev. Youth and female (? no white) in biga; youth dressed as before, but red garment is fastened over shoulder by strap. Rim near top is yellow or red, with ivy wreath round it. Near foot is a yellow or red zone with black ornamentation. Drawing good. Like this in style (with body of vase black, and with a redder space on which are black figures) are next two.]]></dcterms:description>

On each side a bowman and a hoplite turned away in the act of fighting with unseen foe. Athene behind with aegis. The heroes have Boeotian, the hoplites Argolic shields. (2) A revelling scene, five youths, an old man, and a servant with oinochoe. In centre is a curious stand, on one ear of which hangs oinochoe.]]></dcterms:description>
