    <dcterms:description><![CDATA[Poison Dart contained within a glass tube with bungs at either end. Curare poison dart from the Amazon Valley. The tip is smeared with the Curare poison; the shaft is a slender tapered splinter of bamboo; it is feathered by some downy fibre wrapped around the butt, so as to propel it from a blow-pipe. Original handwritten paper label at one end.<br />

    <dcterms:description><![CDATA[Large tobacco pipe in bamboo with pokerwork decoration. The pipe is cylindrical and quite long and wide, with a round hole at one end, a shallow bowl-shape at the other and a very small round hole beneath with no attachment. The decorated section consists of large concentric circles with smaller concentric circles in panels on either side bordered by a double row of teeth. There is a single ring of plaited vegetable fibre round the shaft above the design. A large crack runs down the shaft along with a large loss. The letter &quot;B&quot; is written in black ink beneath the hole on the shaft - the letter &quot;A&quot; is written in black ink on the other end of the shaft. There are two small white labels attached, one with the &quot;ABDUA:1680&quot; number and the other with the old number &quot;86+2A&quot; written in black pen.]]></dcterms:description>
