<dcterms:description>Rectangular pouch. The outside is (loom) beaded with a pattern of diamonds and chevrons in black beads on a background of white beads. The warp is a wide (double?) brown wool and the weft is a tan twisted thread. The wefts all sit atop the warps (strongly suggesting this piece was made on a bead loom, as this is the most basic bead loom stitch).
Constructed with a seam along bottom. The joining seam could not be identified.
The inside is lined in woven fabric with a shepard's check pattern (with alternating wider and narrower lines consisting of diagonal stripes) of blue on beige. The beaded panel folds into the pouch for a width of two rows.</dcterms:description>

    <dcterms:title>Sash</dcterms:title>
<dcterms:description>Loom-woven beaded sash with background of white beads, and black beads in a geometric 'H'-like motif which appears nine times. The motifs are placed with the long sides of the ‘H’-es running parallel to the length of the sash. The sash is 26 beads wide. The motifs have three white beads on each side, and the black lines forming the ‘H’ are two beads wide. The motifs are filled in with white – four beads wide, and the short line in the centre of the H is three beads high. The beads are of somewhat irregular size.
The warp is red/dark orange wool which appears to have been dyed irregularly as it is mottled with a tan colour and there is only one warp between each ‘column’ of beads. The twisted fibre weft goes over-under-over-under.

There is no weft underneath the final rows of beads. Instead, two warps from each side of a bead are twisted together, holding the bead in place. Some of these twists – specifically the shorter ones, have come undone. Some of the longer ones are knotted in several places.
