    <dcterms:description><![CDATA[Small, Late Northern British beaker, with three bands of decoration (twisted cord, horizontal bands, herringbone) separated by two plain horizontal bands.  The outside of the pot is slightly burnished. The beaker was found in association with a burial at Elrick, Aberdeenshire in the 19th century.  Transfers : FROM Mayor Campbell of Cloghill TO Dr A Rudolf Galloway (pre 1924) TO Museum (1924).  Found in association with an Early Bronze Age funeral burial, near Hill of Elrick, Newhills, Aberdeenshire.  Context : &#039;in a cist&#039;.]]></dcterms:description>

    <dcterms:description><![CDATA[Large knife made on a flake of black volcanic rock, perhaps pitchstone.  It has a keeled back, and has been ground over the whole surface, with extra polishing/grinding to sharpen blade down one side.  Parallel grooves visible on blade - maybe use marks.   Found in the Bog of Fintray, Fintray, Aberdeenshire along with other well made flint tools.   The pitchstone does not come from Aberdeenshire, indicating that the raw material, if not the tool was brought from elsewhre in Britain.]]></dcterms:description>

    <dcterms:title><![CDATA[Spear point. An orange flint spear point about 9 centimetres long, roughly oval shaped.]]></dcterms:title>
    <dcterms:description><![CDATA[Flint tool, a large laurel leaf point made in grey-brown flint, shaped by pressure flaking, with some shallow invasive retouch to sharpen the edges. More pointed at one end, but that tip has been either broken or removed. The end has then been trimmed to square it off. Date: later Neolithic period. Found in the Bog of Fintray, Fintray, Aberdeenshire along with some other well made flint tools, but may have come from outwith the Aberdeenshire area, possibly from further south in Britain.<br />

    <dcterms:description><![CDATA[Neep puller, iron, two-pronged with loop on back, wooden handle.  One of a number of items (eg ABDUA 15895 to 15915) donated by Mrs Argo of Aberdeen, some of which were used on the farm of Darnabo, near Fyvie, Aberdeenshire.   Most of the items date to the early 20th century, though some objects may be even older.  Mrs Argo left the Darnabo farm c. 1970, and had previously been at New Deer.]]></dcterms:description>
