Description
Powder flask, made of black horn with a cigar-shaped body and with two sizes of powder measure, one at each end (probably to measure the powder required for pistol, shooting gun and large bore gun). Used by the Reverend Alexander John Forsyth who patented a percussion lock for fire arms and therefore experimented with detonating powder.
