Description

Kelchin, in wood, 19th century. Suspended in the chimney to hold 'fir-candles' while being dried. Made from two bars of squared wood into which are let six unworked pieces of branch, like a ladder, and the handle is a bent branch. The iron hook is for hanging up the kelchin.
